NSVS hosts Nowrooz

The Nowrooz celebration was hosted by NSVS this year. 33 members of the NSVS participated in this event and we also had a number of lovely volunteers who helped us with this event.

There was a beautiful haft-sin table set up for this event and Rose Persian Restaurant in West Vancouver, one of our sponsors, served fish and rice for our seniors. Fish and rice is Iranian's traditional food for Nowrooz.

Mrs. Simin Daneshvar also sang Nowrooz songs and played Daff and made the Nowrooz celebration more pleasurable.
